The author of the show Candice Bushnell has announced her plans for her new book ‘The Carrie Diaries: Meet Carrie before Sex and the City’. This book, believed to be a prequel of the show will reveal the earlier life of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) before the one we had seen when the show premiered in 1998.

The book will describe the life of young Carrie in her High School. We can well imagine how naughty and reckless Carrie would be in her childhood, having seen her spicy behavior as an adult. The book will provide us a glimpse about her link-ups with men and her relationship with her mother during early age of her life. It will be the first one in the planned two book series based on Sex and the City.

Though we are looking forward to the release of the book, the questions which strike our mind first of all are that who will be her friends in teen-age? Would she meet Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte as a teen or at a later stage of life? Will they even be mentioned in the book or not? It is becoming very difficult to wait till the book arrives in market. This book has been announced to be published on April 27, 2010. Scintillating Samantha was a successful PR exec with full knowledge of what and why she wanted. And, the lady was capable enough to fulfill her wishes and we saw her getting what ever she wished to have. The author has recently taken up the contract of writing a novel about her character Bradshaw’s high school years. When asked to name someone to play that part she quickly named Miley Cyrus. On the other hand, when Miley was asked, if she would like to do the part, she said, “I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex & The City.”

Now, that seems really interesting to me, Miley to play young Carrie. Well, I personally think that it is a very good idea as fans of the series would definitely like to know about the previous life of the character. All Sex and the City fans know her very well. She appeared as Samantha Jones in the shows and in the movie as well. Samantha was one of my favorite characters on show. She acted as the oldest and the most sexually confident of the four. An independent and loveable woman who has a well established career in public relations. What to say about her… I mean she’s sexy, confident, loveable and a very loyal friend as well. Both, in TV series and in movie too, I liked her a lot and loved her lot. She’s the best (at least, I think so) of the 4.

Carrie is dating Petrovsky and is overly impressed by him and wants to stay with him for long. But only the time will tell whether she succeeds or not. There was a lot of drama in this episode but blended with fun.

Obviously she will seek a younger version because the mature version has already broken the records.

Well, she is of opinion that young girls too fall in love at a young age in the real life, then why a Sex and the City can not be prepared for young people. Well, I think her bold image suits the Carrie’s character. So if she gets a chance work in Sex and the City kind of movie or a show, then she must do that role. The only thing is the standards ‘Sex and the City’ have set up for other shows. Everybody is following their trend of transforming soaps into movie. And every star wants to work in ‘Sex and the City’ kind of movie and wants to play the same roles. Seriously, ‘Sex and the City, has become a role model for all the TV show producers, as well as Stars. But do you think the same success can be achieved? Never give up hopes guys, after all, history repeats itself.

Actually it was closer to the real lives of people and contained fun what people seek from a three hour movie.

It had great creative concentration upon everything from clothing to interiors, from story line to best acting and a fun filled and bold life style and the concept of living life at one’s own terms. These things made the SATC the most successful and popular among all.

Hey buddies, you know today I read a very interesting and funny thing from TV news. But it was quite logical too. You know a magazine conducted a survey about what people think about the women oriented movie and to know if the real American women and men follow the same trend in their love lives as the ‘Sex and the City’ girls do. Can you believe it that most of the men and women revealed that they too had more than one person in their lives during a love affair. And many tend to have a number of affairs before they settle down.

Otherwise it was believed that no person could have more than four or five persons in a life. Well, leave these surveys for those people only. I just want to emphasize how much impact Sex and the City girls have made on people that everybody agrees that there was nothing un-natural or fictional about Samantha, Carrie and other girls’ various love encounters and it happens in real life of Americans. In fact, many youngsters were found saying that they got inspiration from city girls, as they are their style icons as well as Love Gurus.

Gals and guys are absolute followers of Sex and the City gals, they imitate them in every aspect, say its fashion or, relationship trends. They think if the girl in the ‘Sex and the City’ do some thing, then its right as per social norms. All the four Sex and the City girls deserve appreciation and each one is better than the other. But my favorite is Carrie Bradshaw played by Sarah Jessica Parker. In fact, I like Carrie more than the Sarah Jessica Parker herself. The character has been portrayed such beautifully that you just can’t ignore her presence on the show. Moreover among all the other characters she is closer to a real life girl. Like, she has a frustrated heart, seeking faithful and committed love.

Being a writer, she is bold enough to say anything about delicate topics. Her character has been painted as a solid decision maker. As when she gets involved with Aiden but couldn’t keep herself away from her old love Mr. Big, she causes Aiden a heart break without much consideration. She is such a bold girl who lives her life on her own terms whether these are her love interests or her profession. She carries on the relationship with Mr. Big even when he gets married and is not ready for commitment. I love these things about Carrie that she’s spontaneous professionally as well as personally, nothing seems contrived. Whatever highs she achieves professionally, still she owns a simple heart, which is in search of true love.

When she breaks up with both Aiden and Mr. Big, then she concentrates upon her career and succeeds. You know she is called fashion Chameleon in ‘Sex and the City’. Carrie’s character has made her very popular among youngsters as she is a fashion icon for them owing to her unique kind of jewellery and designer dresses. Her flower pins, name plate necklaces, newsboy hats and baguette bags have created craze among gals.

After ‘Sex and the City‘ every teenager has started following Carrie’s style. This is the impact of her character as far as my observation is concerned I think she is the most popular character among women from the four girls.

‘Sex and the City‘ is at the top of the list of my recent favorites. As a TV series, I just liked it but as a movie I loved it. I watched the first day first show of the movie by skipping the birthday party of a close friend, making her very angry in the bargain. So you can say that this blog is an attempt to make up with her again. Well, I am giving the genuine reason over here about what made me crazy for this movie. Well Samantha, Carrie have been the style icons since the times ‘Sex and the City’ was just a teleseries. But now, along with their hot dresses, the colors of the walls of their homes have become the topic of gossip mill.

Everybody is wondering and discussing the color of the walls especially of Carrie’s room. What a nice shade of blue it was! Moreover I think the movie was more about the outfits and fashion. I really liked the outfits of all the female characters. Even you will agree that in theatre the guys were more in number than gals. I and my gang were laughing out that the movie is basically for guys to teach them the ways of impressing their gals. Nonetheless, I found the movie setting higher standard for the gals too to impress their guys. In my college, whenever I pass through corridor, I normally hear girls talking to each other sayings some thing like you are looking very much Samantha or how did you get into Carrie’s wardrobe. Every girl is dying to look like Samantha and to have Carrie’s clothes. These girls have changed the fashion scenario of New York I suppose.

Well, I am enjoying this fashion revolution. Hats off to the dress designers and interior designers of the movie! They experimented with such a wonderful range of colors and made the girls our style icons. After all they have solved my problem about what I am gonna wear in discos on weekends.

After lots of rumors about ‘Sex and the City‘ movie for months and after debating its success and it’s nominations for the awards, my mind now wants some old stuff back. Okay, movie came and went and its success is fine, but why should we keep stretching those three hours into months? I was feeling little nostalgic for the original show, so I spent my whole weekend on edogo.com where I downloaded its last season and watched all the episodes. It made my weekend.

It was real fun watching girls in the series, on my laptop. It’s like paradise when you have a glass of beer in one hand and you are lying on beachside, and people are moving around, and you are busy in watching gorgeous gals of the city, not the real one, I am talking about the Sex and The city gals. When I was watching the show, two nice ladies passed by and had a glimpse of what I was doing with my lap top. They came to know that I was watching SATC and it kicked of a new topic of gossip between them. I felt like I was advertising for the show. But it makes you feel good that your favorite series is liked by everyone.

About girls I can just say that they are crazy about the costumes of the SATC girls. I am sure if the producers ever auction these clothes, then they can generate one heck of revenue out of it. Girls will do anything to get one. And why not, especially Samantha and Carrie look gorgeous in the colors they have chosen to wear.
