Scintillating Samantha was a successful PR exec with full knowledge of what and why she wanted. The author has recently taken up the contract of writing a novel about her character Bradshaw’s high school years. When asked to name someone to play that part she quickly named Miley Cyrus. On the other hand, when Miley was asked, if she would like to do the part, she said, “I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex & The City.”

Now, that seems really interesting to me, Miley to play young Carrie. All Sex and the City fans know her very well. She appeared as Samantha Jones in the shows and in the movie as well. Samantha was one of my favorite characters on show. She acted as the oldest and the most sexually confident of the four. An independent and loveable woman who has a well established career in public relations. What to say about her… I mean she’s sexy, confident, loveable and a very loyal friend as well. Both, in TV series and in movie too, I liked her a lot and loved her lot. She’s the best (at least, I think so) of the 4.

She carries on the relationship with Mr. Big even when he gets married and is not ready for commitment. I love these things about Carrie that she’s spontaneous professionally as well as personally, nothing seems contrived. Whatever highs she achieves professionally, still she owns a simple heart, which is in search of true love.

In my college, whenever I pass through corridor, I normally hear girls talking to each other sayings some thing like you are looking very much Samantha or how did you get into Carrie’s wardrobe. Every girl is dying to look like Samantha and to have Carrie’s clothes. These girls have changed the fashion scenario of New York I suppose.

Well, I am enjoying this fashion revolution. Hats off to the dress designers and interior designers of the movie! They experimented with such a wonderful range of colors and made the girls our style icons. After all they have solved my problem about what I am gonna wear in discos on weekends.

After lots of rumors about ‘Sex and the City‘ movie for months and after debating its success and it’s nominations for the awards, my mind now wants some old stuff back. Okay, movie came and went and its success is fine, but why should we keep stretching those three hours into months? I was feeling little nostalgic for the original show, so I spent my whole weekend on edogo.com where I downloaded its last season and watched all the episodes. It made my weekend.

It was real fun watching girls in the series, on my laptop. It’s like paradise when you have a glass of beer in one hand and you are lying on beachside, and people are moving around, and you are busy in watching gorgeous gals of the city, not the real one, I am talking about the Sex and The city gals. When I was watching the show, two nice ladies passed by and had a glimpse of what I was doing with my lap top. They came to know that I was watching SATC and it kicked of a new topic of gossip between them. I felt like I was advertising for the show. But it makes you feel good that your favorite series is liked by everyone.

About girls I can just say that they are crazy about the costumes of the SATC girls. I am sure if the producers ever auction these clothes, then they can generate one heck of revenue out of it. Girls will do anything to get one. And why not, especially Samantha and Carrie look gorgeous in the colors they have chosen to wear. I know song is originally like “a lil’ bit of Monica in ma life” but from the moment I’ve watched ‘Sex and the city’ episodes on this site, Samantha managed to make a permanent place in my heart and I want to get her in my life. Hey, don’t take me wrong, I am also a girl but I want her as a guide in my life. You know her style and attitude is what I like most about her. She is a man eater. It doesn’t mean that she is a psycho killer, but she is the woman who uses men as boldly as men use gals. That’s what makes her different from other gals. She is just wonderful and she rocks the show.

I seek her guidance so that I may also learn to find the best table in any restaurant when I am hanging out with friends, she will select the best dress for me from my wardrobe suitable for the occasion and finally she will help me to identify and differentiate between a bad guy and a good guy. See my intentions are quite innocent. Anyway she is so much experienced with different kind of guys. So what? If she too has got her heart broken once by Richard, but still she is not a failure, as she has found the new love. Guess who? You know it, Smith. This time she has made a right choice I must say.

What do you think will this man become the lasting love in Samantha’s life or her search for her true love will carry on and on and on? Keep making guesses. Till then let me have another glimpse of Samantha, now I am going to download that episode of Sex and the city, where she meets Smith and he sweeps her off her feet. Oh please, don’t show me that episode where she is continuously refusing in front of other girls that Smith is not her love. That’s not true Samantha, I must say. The hot- hot babe of the ‘Sex and the City‘ Kim Cattrall is happy with her decision to go for the movie. She wonders that four years old idea and a half hour show on cable with strong fan following has turned almost into a movement. The beauty takes the movie as an incredible personal challenge for her, as at that time her marriage was coming apart and her dad was diagnosed with dementia. Kim plays Samantha in the movie. We are really proud of the gorgeous actress for her loyalty towards her fans and the movie.

‘The Sex and the City’ has unbelievably strutted to a $55.7 million opening weekend exceeding far away from Hollywood’s box office expectations. Moreover the movie is at number five on the chart and tops the R-rated movies list.

Kim gives the whole credit of generating the idea of the movie to Micheal Patrick King. She says that he called her and told that he was writing something wonderful that she would love to do. Kim shares that initially she was considering quitting Samantha, because she was looking lesser scope for it when Carrie was the story teller. She was quite reluctant playing the character which was both funny and outrageous. The challenge to play both was quite difficult. Kim is of the view that Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha became so much popular because of the realistic grey shades they were given.

Well, the reaction of fans really proves Kim’s view point as absolutely right. The three characters of ‘Sex and the City’ have become style icons for the youngsters. I am sure. No, I am definitely sure, if the movie version of Sex and the city makes women over 40 feel empowered, then, it will be the biggest achievement of director Michael Patrick King. And yeah, I will also be enrapt when Samantha Jones will celebrate her 50^th birthday on big-screen.

Main characters Sarah Jessica Parker aka Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis aka Charlotte, Cattrall aka Samantha Jones and Cynthia aka Miranda Hobbes, they all are over 40 and all these characters are 4 year older than where we last left them in the season finale. Movie will depict all of them moving on with their lives and facing new challenges and troubles. According to the director, the hardest part about movie was the responsibility for the fans that watched series for almost six years and are expecting a lot more from movie version. And yeah, you’re right as we are really expecting much more than series from this movie and hope it will fulfill all that.

Don’t know about you, at least I am crazy to watch these 30 somethings who ruled HBO for six seasons while drinking and sexing in their 40s and some ones into their 50s. Some one new will also join the cast and that’s Jennifer Hudson as Carrie’s tech savvy assistant.
