Sometimes, sequels and spin-offs of the popular TV shows and movies don’t do well; in fact they impinge on the popularity and status of their predecessors. But, in some cases they do wonders and are again followed by spin-offs and sequels respectively. The second phenomenon is quite true about ‘Sex and the City Series‘, an HBO Network Production. It ran for six very successful seasons on the HBO Network and is remembered as one of the best series ever aired on HBO. People loved it too much and have been crazy for it since the premiere of the series.

Carrie would leave Big after he would end up with another woman in the bed. Later, she would come to know of her pregnancy. What do you think would be the title of this upcoming movie? Well, I really don’t have any idea. And, the thing, which is of vast importance, is what would be next. I mean, how it would continue the story line…. Don’t know!

Most probably, shooting will commence this summer and the movie is likely to be released in summer 2010. A long time to wait over but at-least a sign of hope is here and it’d help us to move forward. Well, guys, I really want to watch the sequel of ‘Sex and the City’ movie! As per the latest news revealed by the creators- the movie budget would be $65 million approximately, same as the budget of the last movie.

Sex and the City TV show received tons of appraise from viewers during its six season long run. There’re 94 episodes aired during the whole run and its all major characters became very popular after their appearance on the show. After the TV show, we guys welcomed the movie version with the same ladies reprising their respective roles and the same is gonna happen once again.

Yesterday, I was watching an episode of ‘Sex and City’ TV show and can you guess which episode it was? Hey, it’s the first season opener entitled ‘Sex and The City’. I really don’t know for how many times I’ve watched this episode but the thing which I am sure about is that it was June 6, 1998 when I first watched it and this was the day when I was just stunned to watch such kind of show on TV.

In this episode, we guys met four beauties Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. Although they all were gorgeous and sexier than each other but the one who caught my eye was Samantha, portrayed by Kim Cattrall. And, this post is just for her in order to remind you her superb performance on the ‘Sex and The City’ TV show.

Scintillating Samantha was a successful PR exec with full knowledge of what and why she wanted. And, the lady was capable enough to fulfill her wishes and we saw her getting what ever she wished to have. She was seen radiating confidence in what ever she did from welcoming a star client to arranging the most coveted table at the trendiest restaurant to bedding (fu*****) a hot guy in her bed room. Recently, what we have heard about the two is that the author of the series Sex and The city, Candace Bushnell, intends that Miley Cyrus, the young sensation to play, should play the role of young Carrie Bradshaw, if ever her prequel novels are turned into movies of TV shows. The author has recently taken up the contract of writing a novel about her character Bradshaw’s high school years. When asked to name someone to play that part she quickly named Miley Cyrus. On the other hand, when Miley was asked, if she would like to do the part, she said, “I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex & The City.”

Now, that seems really interesting to me, Miley to play young Carrie. Well, I personally think that it is a very good idea as fans of the series would definitely like to know about the previous life of the character. And, if another sensation is added to the cast then it will be all the more fun. But, let me just get back to reality as there are no such plans to make a show or movie about the same, it was just a thought that was expressed. It was real fun watching girls in the series, on my laptop. About girls I can just say that they are crazy about the costumes of the SATC girls. I am sure if the producers ever auction these clothes, then they can generate one heck of revenue out of it. Don’t know about you, at least I am crazy to watch these 30 somethings who ruled HBO for six seasons while drinking and sexing in their 40s and some ones into their 50s. Some one new will also join the cast and that’s Jennifer Hudson as Carrie’s tech savvy assistant.
