Sometimes, sequels and spin-offs of the popular TV shows and movies don’t do well; in fact they impinge on the popularity and status of their predecessors. But, in some cases they do wonders and are again followed by spin-offs and sequels respectively. The second phenomenon is quite true about ‘Sex and the City Series‘, an HBO Network Production. It ran for six very successful seasons on the HBO Network and is remembered as one of the best series ever aired on HBO. People loved it too much and have been crazy for it since the premiere of the series.

It was the craze of people which made Sex and the City episodes to return in the form of the movie. The movie version was again welcomed by people with open arms and it shoveled in $412 million worldwide. As of now, the crew is ready with their new production. It’s the sequel to the movie version and would be having all our favorite beauties back- Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis. It’s not supposed to hit the theatres until 2010. Don’t worry as the plot has been leaked and I know what would be happening there, read the following lines and get to know yourself!

As per the details coming out the black non-transparent bags, Mr. Big would cheat Carrie Bradshaw, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, after a young colleague would attract his stares. Carrie would leave Big after he would end up with another woman in the bed. Later, she would come to know of her pregnancy. The global financial crisis would make Samantha Jones, portrayed by Kim Cattrall to deal with her own dilemmas and the lady would be seen struggling with money matters. OMG! It’s gonna be very exciting to see how the gorgeous would adjust to curb her prolific lifestyle! The wipe out of some investments of her would make Samantha to scale back her excessively spending life style.

I guess the above given juicy bits would help you to get closer to know what surprises ‘Sex and the City Series‘ would be bringing for us in May 2010.

We guys first took pleasure with ‘Sex and the City‘ TV show, following it was the Sex and the City’ movie which, without any doubts, changed the meanings of success of ‘show-to-movie’ sort of movies. And, as of now, the creators have more incredible ideas in their minds so they’ve decided to make a sequel to the Sex and the City movie.

And, much to our amusement, the producers have decided to bring all our favorite SATC beauties back. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, they all have signed to reprise their respective roles in the sequel to ‘Sex and the City’. Writer-director Michael Patrick King will also return to direct the sequel.

What do you think would be the title of this upcoming movie? Well, I really don’t have any idea. And, the thing, which is of vast importance, is what would be next. I mean, how it would continue the story line…. Don’t know!

Most probably, shooting will commence this summer and the movie is likely to be released in summer 2010. A long time to wait over but at-least a sign of hope is here and it’d help us to move forward. Well, guys, I really want to watch the sequel of ‘Sex and the City’ movie! As per the latest news revealed by the creators- the movie budget would be $65 million approximately, same as the budget of the last movie.

Sex and the City TV show received tons of appraise from viewers during its six season long run. There’re 94 episodes aired during the whole run and its all major characters became very popular after their appearance on the show. After the TV show, we guys welcomed the movie version with the same ladies reprising their respective roles and the same is gonna happen once again.

Hey buddies…. I know wait is too long but at least, now we have some solid reasons to wait for. Expectations are high and I hope, ‘Sex and the City’ would once again leave us stunned

Yesterday, I was watching an episode of ‘Sex and City’ TV show and can you guess which episode it was? Hey, it’s the first season opener entitled ‘Sex and The City’. I really don’t know for how many times I’ve watched this episode but the thing which I am sure about is that it was June 6, 1998 when I first watched it and this was the day when I was just stunned to watch such kind of show on TV.

In this episode, we guys met four beauties Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte. Although they all were gorgeous and sexier than each other but the one who caught my eye was Samantha, portrayed by Kim Cattrall. And, this post is just for her in order to remind you her superb performance on the ‘Sex and The City’ TV show.

Scintillating Samantha was a successful PR exec with full knowledge of what and why she wanted. And, the lady was capable enough to fulfill her wishes and we saw her getting what ever she wished to have. She was seen radiating confidence in what ever she did from welcoming a star client to arranging the most coveted table at the trendiest restaurant to bedding (fu*****) a hot guy in her bed room. How much wide and broad minded she was that she forgot the wedding dreams and lust took over love every night. And, she was always proud of it. In an episode of ‘Sex and The City’ we saw her experimenting lesbian love but she realized that it’d not going to work out when her girlfriend demanded more intimacy!

The lady used to call herself a ‘try sexual’. And, the best part of her personality was her loyalty towards her friends. In the sixth season of the ‘Sex and The City’, she was diagnosed with cancer and the brave lady beat cancer and welcomed life with a new perspective. After the huge success of ‘Sex and the City‘ movie, every member of star cast is feeling felicitous and is in mood of celebrations. Yeah, that’s what they people deserve… the ones who repeated a grand success!

Well, what’re their plans after SATC hit? Not sure about the rest, but apparently know Kim Cattrall’s plans. The lady is all set to star as a former 1980s cinema femme fatale in a brand new movie called ‘Miss January’. Movie is about a young man who travels across the USA to meet his dream gal and later finds that she’s now a 50 year old single mother.

The movie will be written and directed by Keith Bearden and is currently being shot in Michigan. Among the star cast are- ‘Brain Dennehy’, ‘Dustin Ingram’, ‘Keith David’ and ‘Sam McMurray’ etc.

All Sex and the City fans know her very well. She appeared as Samantha Jones in the shows and in the movie as well. Samantha was one of my favorite characters on show. She acted as the oldest and the most sexually confident of the four. An independent and loveable woman who has a well established career in public relations. What to say about her… I mean she’s sexy, confident, loveable and a very loyal friend as well. Both, in TV series and in movie too, I liked her a lot and loved her lot. She’s the best (at least, I think so) of the 4.

Well, she performed smartly on ‘Sex and the City‘ so I expect the very same (in fact more) in ‘Miss January’. Hey gorgeous! You’ve the stamina to rock the things up so you just let ‘Miss January’ to rock on. Well, no release date is announced yet but chances are to be released in the mid of 2009.
