Kim at the age of just 3 months moved to Canada with her father Dennis and her mother Shane. She returned to England at the age of 11 and studied at the London Academy of Music. She made her first appearance on Rosebud and then appeared on Scruples in 1980. On the HBO hit Sex and the City, she played Samantha Jones which gained her a Golden Globe award, a SAG award and 5 Emmy nominations.   Kim Cattrall wrote a book in 2002 entitled Satisfaction: The Art of the Female Orgasm which was the best sold book during that season. She also has made a documentary on Sex. Catrall has pointed out that she was a serial monogamist and she has been divorced for three times.
