Sex and the City seasons are comedy drama created and produced by Darren Star in association with Michael Patrick King and Sarah Jessica Parker. All the seasons are shot in Silvercup Studios and New York streets with Single camera setup in 480i SDTV Picture and Stereo Audio format. Originally, all the seasons were broadcasted on HBO channel but later on their syndication was granted to local networks and WGN. Sex and the City season 1 were premiered on 6^th June, 1998.

Samantha Jones is outspoken, strong, oldest one, faithful to her friends and had several sexual relationships. Charlotte York is the most optimistic and romantic one. Sex and the city seasons have won 8 Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, or Movie, TV Series- Musical or Comedy and Best TV Series- Musical or Comedy continuously three years from 2000 - 2002. The show has also won 7 Emmy Awards which include Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for the episode, one for its Costumes, a trophy for Outstanding Comedy Series for its third season in 2001, Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series in 2002, and for its final season in 2004 and two Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series.
